BCCO Choir & Orchestra
Singing in a choir or chorus is a beautiful and rewarding art form that not only rewards us with a sense of achievement but entertains audiences, connects people and touches hearts and memories

Our Story
Bangkok Combined Choir and Orchestra (BCCO) stands as an assemblage of two entitles: The Bangkok Combined Choir (BCC), a Choir with a storied history dating back to its inception in 1953 by the visionary Mrs. Mary Chaffee, and The Bangkok International Community Orchestra (BICO), a multinational symphony founded in 2009 by Rear Admiral Veeraphan Vawklang, Thailand’s National Artist, and the current maestro, Charunee Hongcharu.
BCCO, a beacon of musical collaboration, opens its arms to professional and amateur volunteer enthusiasts globally, fostering and artistic community that transcends nationality, religion, profession, and age. It aspires to be a guild of musical artisans where unwavering dedication fuels the pursuit of musical passion. Here, individuals refine their skills through collective learning, practice, and the performance of world-renowned repertories.
At the heart of BCCO’s mission is the portrayal of the beauty and transformative power of sacred music, aiming to bring this profound experience closer to every corner of society. Rooted in the belief that music is the inclusive and universal language, BCCO envisions itself as an oasis of abundant and uplifting joy, accessible to all
